What's the difference between single, dual, and quad motor standing desks?

LiftSync standing desks feature three motor system options, each designed for specific needs:


- Single motor: Max loading capacity of 154 lbs. Perfect for lighter setups, offering reliable height adjustment and value
- Dual motor: Max loading capacity of 220 lbs. Provides enhanced lifting capacity and smoother operation for standard workstations
- Quad motor: Max loading capacity of 264 lbs. Our premium option delivering maximum stability and weight capacity, ideal for heavy-duty setups


All motor systems include anti-collision technology and precise height adjustment capabilities.

Does the desk need to be connected to power all the time?

Yes, LiftSync standing desks require a continuous power connection to function optimally. While power consumption is minimal (less than 0.1W in standby mode), keeping your desk plugged in ensures:


- Consistent access to programmable height memory settings
- Smooth height adjustment operation
- Proper function of all smart features, e.g. USB 3.0 ports and control panel with LED display
- Maintenance of custom preferences and settings

Are LiftSync standing desks' tabletops one piece or multiple pieces?

All LiftSync standing desks come with one complete whole piece tabletop, with the exception of the Pro L model. The Pro L desk is the only model that comes with 3 boards which are assembled together to create the L-Shape configuration.

What is unique about LiftSync Mobile desks' lifting mechanism?

Unlike traditional electric standing desks, LiftSync Mobile series features an advanced pneumatic lifting system, requiring no power or cables for operation. Our innovative design includes:

How precise is the height adjustment system on Mobile desks?

Both the LiftSync Mobile and Mobile Plus desks feature stepless height adjustment. This means you can set the desk at any height within their respective ranges - there are no fixed increments.

You can adjust to the exact height you need (such as 32.5" or 37.75") for maximum ergonomic comfort.

Monitor Arms/VESA

How do I know if the arms' VESA mounts fits my monitor?

LiftSync monitor arms fits any monitor that are compatible with 75x75 mm (3×3 inches) or 100x100 mm (4×4 inches) VESA mounts. The included VESA mounting plate simply screws onto the back of compatible monitors and easily clips into the monitor arm, allowing you to add or remove your monitor quickly and without tools.

What are the specifications of the monitor arms?

- Height adjustments through a 9.2 inch-22.2 inch vertical range
- Forward/backward positioning with our articulating arm design
- 180° swivel and 360° rotate capability
- Free Tilting with a +90°/-85° range
- Portrait/landscape orientation switching
- Tension customization for different monitor weights

Simply use the arm's joints and hinges to adjust your monitor to the perfect ergonomic position without tools. Remember to avoid direct manipulation of the VESA head component itself.

Does LiftSync offer volume discounts for bulk orders?

Yes, LiftSync provides specialized pricing for bulk purchases to support organizational needs. Please contact our team by sending an email to customer-service@liftsync.us for a customized quote and detailed information.

How do the memory settings work on LiftSync desks?

Most LiftSync desk models include advanced programmable memory systems that save your preferred height positions. Our intuitive control panel allows you to store and recall precise height settings with one-touch operation. All of our standing desks has 3 programmable height presets.

During the deskʼs movement to the memory height position, you can press any key to stop its operation.

Can I use my own tabletop?

Yes, LiftSync offers frame-only options for the models of Liftsync Classic, LiftSync Pro and LiftSync Quad Pro. This flexible approach is ideal if you:


- Already own a desktop you wish to continue using
- Plan to create a custom surface with specific dimensions or materials
- Need to match existing office furniture with a particular finish


Each frame-only package includes detailed mounting specifications, all necessary hardware, and comprehensive installation instructions to ensure proper integration with your existing desktop. We recommend desktops between 1" to 1.5" thickness for optimal stability.

Shipping

How long does shipping typically take?

Standard shipping for LiftSync desks takes 4-8 business days within the continental US. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout for an additional fee. International shipping times vary by location, typically 7-14 business days.

Does LiftSync ship to P.O. boxes?

No, LiftSync does not ship to P.O. boxes. Due to the size and weight of our products, we require a physical street address for delivery. This ensures proper handling and successful delivery of your items.

Please note that if you placed a P.O. box address, our customer service team will email you to require an alternate non-P.O. address so the shipment can be completed.

Can LiftSync ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or international addresses?

Currently, LiftSync provides shipping services to the 48 contiguous United States only. Due to carrier restrictions, we are unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO military addresses, or international destinations.

What should I do if my package is lost or missing?

If you receive a delivery notification but cannot locate your order, please check around your shipping address or with your building receptionist if you live in an apartment. If you still cannot find your package(s), report the issue immediately to customer_service@liftsync.us. Please note that LiftSync reserves the right to deny assistance for lost claims reported more than 30 days after the delivery date.

Does LiftSync offer free shipping?

Yes, all LiftSync products purchased directly from our website are eligible for free shipping, unless otherwise stated for specific items such as vendor products or special categories.

What shipping carriers does LiftSync use?

LiftSync partners with reputable third-party shipping providers, primarily using FedEx, to deliver our products to customers across the United States.

Payment & Orders

Will I receive an invoice and confirmation for my order?

Yes, all LiftSync orders will receive an email order confirmation after the order has been processed. A copy of your invoice will be attached to this email for your records. You can also click the link in your order confirmation to download a PDF of your invoice.

Will I receive tracking information for my order?

Yes, your tracking details will be sent via email. Once your order has been packed and dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive another email with your tracking information with FedEx.

This tracking information will update as soon as your parcel receives the initial scans by our couriers, allowing you to track your parcel's progress online.

Warranty, Returns and Refunds

Below are some common questions about product returns, exchanges, and refunds.

How long is the warranty period?

We offer a 10-year warranty on all desk frames, 2 years for monitor arms, and 5 years for all mobile desks.

What should I do if my product arrives damaged?

You should inspect all shipments immediately upon arrival and note any damage to the boxes when signing for delivery. If you discover any damage or defects, promptly report them to the LiftSync customer service team by emailing customer_service@liftsync.us. Including photos or videos of the damage will help with assessment. All notifications regarding issues must be made within one week of delivery.

How do I make a warranty claim?

If you notice any imperfections in your product, reach out to the customer service team at customer_service@liftsync.us and make sure you send photos + videos that clearly showcase the problem. Requests are typically processed within 7 business days. In-stock replacement parts will be shipped within 7 business days, usually via USPS ground services.

Assembly and Product Maintenance

Below are some commonly asked questions about product set up, assembly guides, and maintenance during use

Do I need a drill or any tools?

Just a Phillips screwdriver. All other necessary tools are included. All our desks, frames and accessories feature threaded inserts for tool-free attachment.

Can I assemble it alone?

Yes, most models can be assembled by one person. For larger models like the Pro L, having a second person helps when attaching the desktop to the frame.

What if parts are missing?

Contact customer_service@liftsync.us immediately with your order number. We'll promptly ship any missing component or provide appropriate solutions.

How long does it take to assemble LiftSync standing desks?

All LiftSync desks are designed for quick assembly, taking around 30 minutes or less. Some models like the Mobile desk require even faster assembly, typically within 15 minutes. Our most convenient model Mobile Plus feature tool-free assembly with simple unfolding mechanisms, allowing you to set up your workspace almost instantly.

Error Codes & Troubleshooting

Below are troubleshooting steps to take when your standing desk displays error codes

Error Codes of LiftSync Quad Pro

Reset

First of all, lower the height adjustable desk to the lowest position. Press the "▽ˮ button and listen for a beep sound. The controller will display "rSt" to indicate the beginning of the reset process. Do not release the "▽ˮ button at this time.

The lifting legs will slowly descend to the lowest position and then rebound a certain distance. Release the "▽ˮ button, you will hear two beeps. The controller display will show the corresponding set height and the reset operation is complete. If any unexpected situation occurs during the reset process, you can release the "▽ˮ button at any time. You will hear a beep sound, and the legs will stop moving, terminating the reset.

After the reset is terminated, you need to repeat the reset operation until you hear two beeps, indicating a successful reset. Otherwise, you cannot proceed with other operations.


SC0
Self-test failure - standby current abnormal Reboot the system. If the alarm persists, replace the hand controller or control box.


SC1
Self-test failure - Main power abnormal Reboot the system. If the alarm persists, replace the hand controller, adapter, or control box.


SC3
Self-test failure - Sensor abnormal Reboot the system. If the alarm persists, replace the hand controller or control box.


SC4

Self-test failure - Drive voltage abnormal Reboot the system. If the alarm persists, replace the hand controller or control box.


R-2
Desktop tilt alarm Desk tilt alarm, move in the opposite direction for 5cm and then stop. The alarm will automatically clear and display the actual height of the desk.


R-3
Synchronization failure Try resetting the system to clear the fault code.


HOT
Overheat protection The system automatically enters protection mode due to overheating. The alarm will automatically clear after 18 minutes.

Communication failure Alarm for communication failure between the hand controller and control box. Check the connection between the hand controller and driver.

Main power voltage abnormal After the main power voltage is restored, the alarm will automatically clear. If the alarm occurs frequently, check and replace the hand controller or adapter.

Reset incomplete Continue the reset operation.


EX0

Drive circuit short circuit Reboot the system. If the alarm persists, replace the hand controller or control box.


EX1

Overload protection Operation is prohibited in overload protection mode. The alarm will automatically clear after 20 seconds. To resume operation, reduce the load or check for mechanical faults in the lifting mechanism.

EX2

Motor phase missing Check if the motor wires are properly connected. Reconnect and reset the motor wires. If the alarm persists, replace the hand controller or motor wires.


EX3
Motor Hall signal abnormal Check if the motor wires are properly connected. Reconnect and reset the motor wires. If the alarm persists, replace the hand controller or motor wires.


EX4

Obstacle encountered rollback alarm After the obstacle protection is triggered, the lifting legs will immediately move in the opposite direction for 5cm and then stop. The alarm will automatically clear.


EX6
Motor wires disconnected Check if the motor wires are properly connected. Reconnect the motor wires. If the alarm persists, replace the hand controller or motor wires.


EX7
Mechanical fault Check the lifting leg structure or motor for any abnormalities.

Error Codes of All Other Standing Desks

Reset
Long press ↓ button, display rES and keep pressing until the digit height on the panel comes then lose the ↓ button. In the process, the desk goes down to the lowest and its height will be reset to default.

Hot
Overheat protection: When the motor operates continuously, it will stop and display "Hot" to prevent damage due to overheating. Please wait 15 minutes before making any height adjustments.

E10
Sensor malfunction warning: Motor safety sensor cannot be detected. please power off, unplug the cables of the controller then plug in the cables and connect the power again, and perform rES settings again.

E20
Overloading Warning: Over the max of loading weight. Please power off, take the things off the desk, power back on, and try again.

E02

Operation Status Warning: The desk stops moving if vibration, impact, or incline is detected. If this detection is incorrect,follow the reset instructions before continuing use.

E32
Overvoltage Protection: Input voltage too high. If the correct AC adapter is being used, please power off, unplug the cables of the controller then plug in the cables and connect the power again, and perform rES settings again.

E31
Undervoltage Protection: Input voltage too low. If the correct AC adapter is being used, please power off, unplug the cables of the controller then plug in the cables and connect the power again, and perform rES settings again.

E60
Unequal Leg Height Waming: Check whether all the legs are at the same height. If necessary, adjust it by following the reset instructions.
